Ghanda brings a touch of Torquay to Stockland Townsville
Stockland Townsville will welcome an exciting new addition to its repertoire of fashion retailers, with Ghanda set to open its doors to customers from Saturday, 11 December.
Born in the coastal Victorian town of Torquay, Ghanda is well-known for its affordable hand-printed designs and commitment to working sustainably and ethically.
Andrew Stallan, Centre Manager at Stockland Townsville, said that he was delighted to welcome Ghanda to the region.
“As a business, Ghanda has a strong community and environmental focus that really resonates within the region, and we’re delighted that they have chosen Stockland Townsville as their newest destination,” he said.
“At Stockland, we are constantly looking at ways that we can give our customers better shopping experiences. The addition of Ghanda complements the extensive range of clothing brands that our customers already love, and gives shoppers a fresh new option to find the perfect Christmas gift this year.”
Kayli Moorehead, National Retail Manager at Ghanda, said that after a difficult year for retail in Australia, she was excited to open a new store for people to celebrate some Christmas cheer together.
“Launching in a new area is always something that we really enjoy, and we think that Townsville is a perfect fit for the Ghanda brand.
“Creating unique, coastal-inspired designs is at the heart of what we do, and we can’t think of a more unique coastal region than what is on offer in Townsville.
“We’re really looking forward to welcoming the community, and our store at Stockland Townsville is the perfect place where we can do this in style,” she said.
