Free events at Highlands and Cloverton to celebrate Stockland’s sweet savings for homebuyers

A range of free events will be held at Stockland’s Highlands community at Craigieburn and Cloverton community at Kalkallo in February to celebrate a raft of sweet savings for homebuyers.

Celebrity appearances, cooking demonstrations, finance workshops and a special cricket lesson with the Melbourne Renegades will be on offer as part of the fun of Stockland’s Home Sweeter Home Sale.   

Highlands Display Village will come alive on Saturday, 2 February from 3pm to 7pm with free activities from Zumba classes to cooking and tasting demonstrations by Sashi Cheliah, MasterChef Australia Winner 2018.

Budding cricketers will have an opportunity to meet some of the players from the Melbourne Renegades cricket team and learn how to bowl, plus there will be mini-golf, face painting and a bouncy castle, along with food trucks.

Those keen to make their homes ‘Insta-worthy’ can hone their home decorating skills with The Block winners Alisa and Lysandra teaming up with Colorbond to offer insights into the latest colour trends and styles, both inside and out.

A free finance session will cover topics from applying for home finance to tips on saving for a deposit, while visitors will also be able to explore the latest home designs at the 24-home display village at Whitfield Crescent.

On Saturday, 9 February, free Finance for Beginners sessions and Conveyancing, the What and the Why workshops will be held at both Highlands and Cloverton sales and information centres aimed at both first home buyers and those building a brand new home.

Running for an hour each, the Highlands sessions start from 10am while the Cloverton sessions kick off at 11.30am.

On Saturday, February 16, those thinking of investing in property for the first time will have their questions answered at a special Property Investment for Beginners session at the Highlands Sales and Information Centre from 10am to 11am.
