From chores to freedom: A new beginning at Halcyon Promenade

Meet Des, Hilda, Dianne, and Ken, long-time friends who recently made the move to Halcyon Promenade to enjoy a low-maintenance lifestyle with resort-quality facilities.

After 35 years of friendship, these two couples agreed that the extra free time they now have for hobbies and activities far outweighs the endless chores and lawn mowing they left behind.

“I just needed more than staying home all the time. You can't live on an acre and look after it forever,” says Dianne.

Ken agrees, adding, “It’s great to get a new home and start fresh again.”

“I’m amazed at how big the facilities are here and all the activities that are to do,” says Des. “I’d love to try pickleball, the golf simulator, table tennis, and lawn bowls!”
