Burpengary East local settles into new abode
Foundation homeowners have officially been welcomed to the community at Halcyon Promenade. Burpengary East local Maureen Spratt was the community’s first home buyer and one of the first to move into Halcyon Promenade.
“For me, it was a very special and emotional move. I’ld lived on the site in our family home for 40 years, but after losing my husband and my children moving out, I decided it was time to downsize.”
“I sold my land to Stockland and then purchased a home at Halcyon Promenade. My new home is located on my old block of land, so it makes me feel very happy and comfortable.”
“Since moving in, I’ve formed great friendships with my neighbours in our growing community and the quality of my home is excellent, so I know I’ve made the right decision,” said Maureen.
Halcyon Promenade Project Director Andrew Astorquia said it was an exciting milestone for the community.
“What we’re creating at Halcyon Promenade is very special in terms of expansive facilities, quality homes and a focus on eco-friendly initiatives.”
“Through thoughtful masterplanning, we’re creating a bayside community with that northside feel; a tribute to popular northern Brisbane suburbs. Over the past month, we’ve welcomed more than 15 homeowners and we’re looking forward to many more joining the community as development continues,”Andrew said.
Construction of the community’s Sports Club and Wellness Centre will begin later this year, featuring a gym, an undercover 25m magnesium salt pool, pickleball courts, an outdoor barbeque area and an inside function space.
Halcyon Promenade is set across 24 hectares of prime land on Brisbane’s north east and, when complete, will feature 370 homes, state-of-the-art leisure and lifestyle facilities and plenty of green space for all to enjoy.
