Spring Celebrations at Stockland Halcyon

03 December 2024

The arrival of spring brought an extra touch of joy to Stockland Halcyon communities this year, with the launch of their inaugural Sounds of Spring events. These cheerful gatherings, held at all established Halcyon communities in Queensland and Victoria, are all about creating memorable experiences for home owners and fostering a deeper sense of connection and community.

Halcyon Waters led the charge with its September event kicking off with lively lawn games and a boogie with the band, Blue Poppy, setting the perfect springtime atmosphere.

Halcyon Parks not only celebrated spring but also its 20th anniversary as Halcyon’s longest standing community. A moment highlighted by a few home owners who were also celebrating 20 years within the community.

Across all Halcyon Communities, home owners enjoyed dressing up, posing in the photo booth, creating lasting memories with friends and neighbours delicious food, drinks and a photo keepsake to take home.

“We want our home owners to know we appreciate them. We want them to know how important their happiness is to us as their community managers and caretakers and we hope these events helped to convey this,” said Wanda Coleman, Halcyon Glades Community Manager and Sounds of Spring event organiser.

The feedback from home owners who attended the events has been a resounding feeling of inclusion, appreciation, consideration and togetherness.  These events are more than just a chance to enjoy great food, music, and drinks; they're a celebration of community spirit. They offer an opportunity to reconnect with old friends, meet new neighbours, and embrace the vibrant, social atmosphere of life at Stockland Halcyon.

The Spring Event was a great success and a lot of fun. It provided such a variety of opportunities for home owners to get involved or have a giggle. The band were very energetic and inclusive, so much so that it was difficult not to get into the rhythm and dance. Do it again please!”

The Sounds of Springs was such a happy occasion for all who attended. The fun sunglasses on the tables added a little sparkle to the day.  We really enjoyed the enthusiasm of those around us and the photo booth and photographer added to the theme. Thank you for the event. A definite must for next year!

We thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to have a dance with live music and like-minded people. We have been dancing since we first met 50 years ago at the Cloudland ballroom."

“The Spring event held at Halcyon B was simply the best!  So well organised and so much fun.  This was still early days in Halcyon B for me and it gave me great opportunity to mix and get to know other house owners. Thank you!”
