Serving Up Victory: Northern Communities’ Pickleball Showdown

Halcyon Communities are renowned for pickleball participation so it’s no surprise that Pickleball Masters events are an integral part of our inter-community events schedule.

Five communities north of Brisbane came together at B by Halcyon in mid-May to compete in the annual playoffs.  Around 55 homeowners from Halcyon Glades, B by Halcyon, Halcyon Lakeside, Halcyon Nirimba, and Halcyon Promenade attended and played up a storm. Our dedicated Community Managers were there to support their home owners and help present awards.

Men’s, women's, and mixed games filled the day, with gold and silver medals awarded to winners and runners-up. A lucky door prize consisting of a pickleball paddle, pickleball ball, towels, and chocolates went to one passionate pickleballer. 

Good sportsmanship, sunshine, and a healthy dose of comradery made for a fun day for home owners and staff alike.

B by Halcyon won the overall trophy on the day, proud to show their community counterparts what they are capable of on the court. Queensland communities south of Brisbane will host their annual inter-community Pickleball Masters later in the year.
