Friendship and lawn bowls win the day

Home onwers from various Halcyon communities went head-to-head at the Halcyon Communities Bowls Masters to see which community would receive the ultimate glory of being crowned the 2022 champions.

The annual lawn bowls competition was held on the Gold Coast at Paradise Point Bowls Club this year, with eight of our 10 Queensland communities competing.

Suspense was high as the overall winner was determined by the last bowl on the last end; and after a hotly contested day, to the victor go the spoils, which in this case includes bragging rights (and a trophy).

First place went to Halcyon Greens who are becoming hot favourites after winning the event for the second year in a row.

Second place went to Halcyon Landing who put up fierce competition this year.

Third place went to Halcyon Rise which is an incredible achievement for their first year in the competition.

Congratulations to all our communities for an exhilarating day of fun and entertainment.

All agreed that friendship and lawn bowls were the ultimate winners on the day.
