Communities Compete to Crown Regional Bowls Champions
The Northern Regional Bowls Masters took place at the end of June, bringing together players from six Halcyon Communities for a day filled with camaraderie, healthy competition, and impressive bowling skills.
Halcyon Communities have, for a long time engaged in regional intercommunity events that bring home owners together, creating a sense of belonging and community outside of their community gates.
The 2024 Regional Bowls Masters took place at the end of June and beginning of July across two, lively events on the Gold and Sunshine Coasts. These well-attended events brought together players from ten Halcyon Communities for a day filled with camaraderie, healthy competition, and impressive bowling skills.
In the northern region, six teams battled it out for first place, but Halcyon Lakeside ultimately claimed the sought-after trophy and was crowned ‘2024 Stockland Halcyon Northern Regional Masters Champions’.
B by Halcyon came in a close second and Halcyon Nirimba, our newest established community came in third.
Halcyon Greens, Halcyon Rise, Vision by Halcyon and 2023 winners, Halcyon Waters, competed in the Southern Regional Bowls Masters the following week.
The overall winners for the Southern Communities were Halcyon Greens with Halcyon Waters hot on their heels as runners-up.
Despite their ranking on the day, all players displayed good sportsmanship and demonstrated their enthusiasm for the most frequented activity within Halcyon Communities.
Community Managers attended the popular events to support their bowlers at the much-loved intercommunity events.
