Air fried explosion mini cakes

Give your next dessert a decadent, melt-in-your-mouth twist with this easy-to-follow recipe cake will never be the same!

Method

1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°C, and grease four ramekins with butter.

2. Combine butter and chocolate chips in a large bowl.

3. Melt for 30 seconds in the microwave.  

4. Add icing sugar, eggs, and vanilla to the melted mixture and whisk until smooth.  

5. Add flour, cocoa powder, and whisk until combined. 

6. Fill ramekins halfway with batter.

7. Place one tbsp of peanut butter on top of each batter-filled ramekin.  

8. Fill to the top with the remaining batter. 

9. Place in the air fryer basket and cook for 17 minutes. 

10. Remove ramekins from the air fryer and use a spatula around the edges to remove cakes from ramekins. 

11. Place cakes on a plate to cool and dust with icing sugar to serve.

  • ½ cup of butter
  • ¾ cup of chocolate chips
  • ½ cup of icing sugar
  • ¼ cup of plain flour
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ tsp of vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup of cocoa powder
  • 1 cup of water
  • 4 tbsp of peanut butter
