Winter Food Drive with Feed it Forward Inc.💙
Stockland Baldivis is teaming up with local charity, Feed it Forward Inc to host a winter food drive, supporting vulnerable families in the local community.
We encourage community members to donate non-perishable food items to the designated collection points within the centre.
📅 Saturday 1 June to Friday 26 July
📍 There are 4 donation bins located near Aldi, Woolworths, Coles & Kmart.
What can I donate?
- Canned meat and fish
- Canned fruits and vegetables
- Tinned soups
- Noodles, pasta and rice
- Long life milk and powdered milk
- Spreads (peanut butter, jam etc)
- Baby formula and baby food
- Baby wipes and nappies
- Shampoo, deodorant, and sanitary items
About Feed it Forward 💙
STORY
With the help of more than 500+ active volunteers, we are collecting food from 146 supermarkets and food donors, more than 355 times per week. A monthly average of 200 tonne of edible food is collected and distributed to over 16,000 families as well as 165 community groups, which include the homeless, the elderly, daycares, school breakfast clubs, soup kitchens, church groups, men & women refuges and lots of other community groups.
MISSION
Knowing the need for food is very real within our local communities, FIF does its utmost to help save edible food from landfills to help feed those in need.
We encourage any food outlets, groups, or individuals with surplus food or edible food donations to contribute to us for our vast network of volunteers, to distribute to communities in need... free of charge.
