Stockland is committed to providing employees with opportunities to develop new skills and experiences.

The Peter Daly Fellowship was first awarded in 2006 in honour of Peter Daly's significant contribution to Stockland over his 34 year tenure, which included a significant period as Managing Director and Chairman. The Peter Daly Fellowship is awarded to a team of two or three people representing at least two areas of our business.

The objective of the Fellowship is to enable employees to travel overseas to undertake a study tour, a series of project visits or analysis of leading practices that cannot be readily accessed in Australia.

In 2011, the winning team completed an overseas study tour on "Manufactured Housing" in order to make long-term positive change in the Australian housing market to influence sustainability, affordability and productivity.  After surveying builders, architects and government agencies in a number of countries, a steering committee was set up to further investigate the team’s results and how to best utilise them in our business.
